# Webhooks

Use webhooks to get real-time updates from Alloy

Alloy uses webhooks to notify you when a significant event occurs. They're particularly useful for Journeys and asynchronous events like when a watchlist gets updated or a manual review occurs.

In order to start using Alloy webhooks, you will first need to create an endpoint, also known as a listener, to receive the webhooks.
