Custom Model Workflow Configuration

Configuration

In the workflow editor, create a new version that includes a Custom Models service. If you don’t see Custom Models as an available service, please ask your Alloy Solutions Architect to enable it for you.

Click on the Custom Models service and then click on Options. Under Additional service options add a key/value pair of key: custom_model_id and value: custom model ID provided by Alloy.

The custom model is now configured. It may be treated like any other service that you might include in a workflow.

Handling Service Failures

If there is an error running the custom model, the custom models service will go into service failure.

The default behavior for dependents of a failed service within a workflow is an early exit & partial result. This behavior can be changed by clicking on the tags or other services that depend on the custom models service and then clicking on Options. You will see additional behaviors under Service Failure Handling.

In the case of an early exit, the default outcome of the workflow will be selected. Please make sure this is Denied, Manual Review, or some other non-approved outcome.

If it is possible to give more information about the error, you will see it under the custom model’s raw response.
